Amity Global School,we have state-of-the art Primary and Senior School libraries. Both the libraries acts as one of the most important and integral part of teaching and learning process.It aims to support teaching and learning in the classroom promoting reading and literacy,supports language learning and develops research skills.

We have a collection of over 3000 books,which includes textbooks,fiction & non-fiction of different genres,professional development books,reference sources for both teachers and students. AGS library not only provide books to the students & teachers but also providing various other sources of information through various national & international magazines & newspapers which are subscribed periodically.It is also maintaining various other collection to support  the different International curriculums be it PYP,IBDP,IGCSE & A-levels as Question banks for students,Past year question papers etc.

An array of activities like Book Week,Author Birthdays,Book Talk,Author study ,celebration of International Days and other literacy events are held to encourage students to celebrate and enjoy books which are highlighted in library Newsletter every month.Apart from that we have a good collection of montessori kits and toys for primary learners to help them develop fine motor skills and to make them learn and grow while playing and doing activities.

The students visit library for lessons to develop their information literacy skills,for research purpose,for locating and accessing information  with focus on its ethical use. The internet based Library software KOHA (open source software )is being used in the library for managing all its records having both resources and student details .They can be easily assessed by the students from anywhere, 24/7.Students can check the availability/status of the books by logging into this portal anytime by using their username and password.

The library continuously strives to keep it resources and services updated in the interest of entire school community. It acts as a resource base for school by using the curriculum and students interests in order to promote independent reading and lifelong learning.
